About our Writers Group

The Maine Fellowship of Christian Writers is a member of  American Christian Writers.  Our group meets each month in China Village, Maine. The purpose of our group is to encourage, instruct, and promote Christian writers and proved an annual conference. Our group is a mixture of published authors and aspiring writers of all genres. Susan Page Davis

Christian Writers Conference with  Author Susan Page Davis -

“His Words for our World” is the theme for the 2011 Maine Fellowship of Christian Writers Conference which will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Faith Evangelical Free Church of Waterville, Maine featuring award winning author, Susan Page Davis.  Davis has penned over 30 novels since 2004 and taught writing workshops throughout the country. Previously she worked as a freelancer for the Central Maine Morning Sentinel. She has also had non-fiction articles and short stories published in national magazines. In add In addition to two plenary sessions given by Davis, the conference schedule includes three breakout workshop sessions with professional presenters including acclaimed Christian romance author Ruth Axtell Morren, editor of the Good News Connection, Jim Duran, debut novelist Carla Olson Gade,  author and award winning syndicated columnist William E. Cripe, Sr., devotionalist Susan Peaslee and non-fiction author Vicki Schad. An annual favorite, the "Live Writers Society" will provide an opportunity for conferees to share an excerpt of their own writing.
